Capital Candlelighters' families and friends-

Our third annual Million Penny Drive is rolling along, and because the wonderful "Loose Change for Children" committee at the UW Hospital and Clinics has voted to devote the money they raise in March and April toward the Penny Drive, we are going to keep the drive open until April 30th!  We have jars, labels and posters in the office, so if you want to help us by collecting coins, call Anne at 231-8006!

Thanks so much to the schools, businesses, clubs and individuals doing your part to help us collect change to make a positive change in the lives of kids with cancer!

Our national parent organization, Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation has just launched its revamped web site --
www.candlelighters.org .  We encourage you to spend some time reading the articles and reports there.  You can order one of their readable, informative books (the first one is free to any family of a child with cancer) and sign onto their mailing list to keep up on the latest in childhood cancer advocacy, survivorship issues and childhood cancer research: National Candlelighters' Mailing LIst
