Church roof collapses in the midst of Volcanic eruption and violent storm.
On May 27, the Pacaya volcano erupted. Situated just outside of Villa Nueva the eruption caused a great deal of damage, causing several inches of volcanic sand to fall over a huge area of Guatemala City/Villa Nueva area. Right on the heels of this disaster was a tropical storm that brought two feet of rain in 24 hours! The combination of these two disasters created many challenges for the Guatemala people, including collapsed roofs to churches and schools. One such church greatly affected was that of Pastor Marco of Villa Nueva.
Marco is a close friend of Fe Viva and is a vital part of the National Congress Fe Viva and our partners hold each year in Villa Nueva and El Salvador. Although we cannot directly help everyone or every church that was affected we can help some. I am putting out an appeal to all of our supporters and churches asking for their assistance on behalf of Pastor Marco. I believe we can make a difference and rebuild this church roof even better than before. If you want to help please contact us (info@feviva.org) and let us know how you would like to help.

We are now at Fe Viva Base in Guatemala these next 3 weeks working with teams, connecting with staff and ministry partners and ministering in various churches in the region. Dentists, Dental Assistants and Hygenists Needed.

G.O.D. WALK 2010
WALK 2010
On Saturday September 25, people all across Canada will be walking for the destinies of children in Central America and Sudan in the 6th Annual G.O.D. Walk. This event has had a prefound effect on the lives of many children in our world and is turning the hearts of the fathers to the children. Will you join with us?
The vision of the G.O.D. Walk is to:
1. Help orphaned, abused and vulnerable children in Guatemala, Nicaragua and Sudan.
2. Provide an opportunity for people to help impoverished children in another country and give them a chance to fulfill their destiny.
3. Help individuals learn more about the world they live in.
4. Have a fun-filled family day.

HOW YOU CAN HELP
Not only Fe Viva, but so many other Mission groups are on the scene immediately to do serve in the name of Jesus Christ. Even the government has come to rely on the Body of Christ and the Missionary groups to provide shelter, food, clothing, etc., in times of emergency. This reflects so wonderfully on those who have sent these men and women into the world to shine for Jesus and fulfill the mandate of the Great Commission.
Please pray for the families affected and the Missionaries on the ground working tirelessly to help those in need. Fe Viva endeavors to do all it can to help and to share the love of Christ. If you want to help, please contact us at info@feviva.org.
