| I often wonder, "What if?" Lately I keep asking myself, "What if we did not already have committees or units as our structure for doing ministry together? How would we determine what God wanted us to do in this world." Well I'm not sure I have the full answer, but I saw something the other day that sure makes a lot of sense . . .

The Church Celebrates Ordinations

Tiff Austin was ordained into
Christian Ministry at Bloomfield Christian Church, Bloomfield, IA on
June 21, 2009. Rev. Bill Spangler-Dunning represented the Region. 
Adam Frieberg was ordained into Christian Ministry at Norwalk Christian Church, Norwalk, IA on July 18, 2009. Rev. Bill Spangler-Dunning represented the Region.
Katherine West was ordained into Christian Ministry at Capital Hill Christian Church, Des Moines, IA, on September 26, 2009. Rev. Don Hiscox represented the Region.

1. PLEASE SHARE STORIES ABOUT YOUR CONGREGATION!!, This is your Regional newsletter; it is hoped that this paper will bring us together through sharing our stories. What is happening, how is God moving, what is working, what are you celebrating, new ideas, great programs, etc. If available, please attach pictures, links, YouTube URL's, etc. that can used to share the story!
2. PLEASE TAKE A PHOTO OF YOU AS "DISCIPLES TOGETHER"!!; (See photo at top of page as example) The picture could be in front of your church sign, at a significant event, in your sanctuary, on a mission trip, etc. These will be posted in each newsletter and be maintained on a webpage on our regional website: http://uppermidwestcc.org
