| I have another delicious recipe to share with you...
Since August Bill started
watching his daily caloric intake. I've been trying to watch...what I
cook! And if you're wondering; yes, he has lost weight and I'm very proud of
him! Being supportive about this is getting difficult since every time I
go to the market, what do I see? Whoopie pies everywhere! Yesterday
I had a weak moment, not only did the house smell wonderful, it tasted

Greetings!
This is my favorite time of year.
Trees are starting to turn beautiful colors, the nights are cool and the
Deerfield fair is this weekend. If you have never been, you should try to go...it
is a great time! The food is so good (try the fried pickles) and there are
events to interest the whole family. It will be a little more of a challenge
for me this year at the fair as I am counting calories. I have a friend, who is
also a customer, that challenged me to see who could lose the most weight by
percentage in a 90 day period. We're almost 6 weeks in and I have lost about 9%
of my body weight which is really good for me. I realize there is no big secret
to the weight loss thing...you need to cut down your portions, stop eating junk,
and limit the breads, pasta, potatoes and rice. Good luck maintaining discipline
at the fair and trick-or-treating! It will be well worth the effort when the holiday season rolls in.
