NW Language Academy's 2010 Summer Language Day Camps
NWLA Summer Language Day Camps provide daily instruction reinforced by fun, enriching, age-appropriate activities that include arts & crafts, music, drama, food, field trips and more! Children play traditional games from each culture, enjoy ethnic food, and create beautiful crafts, paintings and sculpture. Activities include kites on the beach, visit with local artists fluent in the target language, fencing, flamenco dance, or tai-chi, making & playing musical instruments, sports, and the highlight - presentation of an original play to the community. Language is taught at all levels of proficiency, so that campers with no prior knowledge of the language are comfortable, and those who already have a foundation can expand their skills. |
