FWMBC Members and Friends,
One of our young members gave me her graduation invitation last week.  She is finishing high School.  I was excited and amazed.  It seems that time passes so fast.  I remember her as a little girl and now she is a young lady.  I am so proud of all of our youth.  Let us encourage them as they approach the end of this school year to finish well.  They are future leaders.  I am going to start saving a few dollars for graduation presents.  Hopefully you will join me in saluting our graduates this year.

Let us keep praying.  And remember, if you pray, don't worry.  I'll leave it at that!

ENDURING TO THE END
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. (Matthew 24:13)
Life for a Christian will definitely have storms.  Either you are coming out of a storm; or you are in a storm; or you are going into a storm.  There may be storms on your job; or storms in your home; or storms in your church.  When you accepted Christ, the warfare started.  But the Bible says that he that endures to the end, shall be saved.  In other words, the Christian should know how to "PERSEVERE" regardless of the circumstances.

First of all, consider "perseverance" as a badge of honor.  Conduct yourself in a way that others will recognize your faithfulness to God.  You are a soldier in the army of the Lord.  Your actions in difficult situations may inspire others to accept Christ in their lives.

Secondly, remember that perseverance glorifies Christ.  He persevered for us all the way to Calvary.  He hung bled and died on the Cross for our sins.  He suffered for us.  Since He did that for us, we should be able to hold on for Him in difficult times.

Thirdly, perseverance demonstrates that we care about the Lord and about other people.  No matter how difficult life gets, we should continue to love people because we care;  we should keep speaking to people because we care;  we should keep smiling because we care; we should keep singing to the Lord because we care; we should keep coming to church because we care; we should keep doing mission work because we care; we should keep praying for others because we care; we should keep praising God because we care; and we should keep holding to our faith in Jesus Christ because we care.

Life is not always easy, but don't give up.  Keep fighting the good fight of faith.  Remember that God has something good waiting for His people in the end. "HE THAT ENDURETH  UNTIL THE END SHALL BE SAVED!"
