FWMBC Members and Friends,
We Greet You In The Love Of Christ! Let us take time to remember God's love for us as we deal with life's situations. Then let us greet others in love as Christ has loved us. A friendly smile and/or a kind word can go a long way in making someone feel better about themselves. It can make you feel better as well. Let us show Christian love for each other in these difficult times. As I hear on some of your telephone answering messages, "GOD LOVES YOU...AND SO DO I!"
Keep our sick and shut in members in prayer.

MAKING THE TOUGH CHOICES
But if it pleases my father to do you evil, then I will report it to you and send you away, that you may go in safety. (1 Samuel 20:13b)
I remember a few years ago a story about a grandmother who turned her grandson in when she realized that he had committed a crime. I know that it broke her heart to do so, however she believed that it was the right thing to do. She had a "tough choice" to make. In life, we are constantly faced with tough choices. How we handle these choices can make all of the difference in our walks with the Lord.
The relationship between Jonathan and David was truly one of brotherly love. Jonathan was the son of Saul, who was King of Israel. David at one time was well liked by Saul because David slew the giant Goliath. However Saul had become jealous of David because the people began to praise David more than they did Saul. Accordingly, Saul began to plot the death of David. This put Jonathan in a very difficult position. He did not want to betray the trust of his father, but he did not want to see his friend, David, killed either. He had a choice to make. He realized that his father was wrong to kill David because of jealousy and he decided he could not let that happen. Even though he would be going against his own father, he made the tough choice by warning David of the plan, thus saving David's life. As we navigate life's many twist and turns, we must remember how important our choices can be. After all, what we do, or don't do, affects others as well. The goal is to do what is right. Our choices must be based on trusting God to lead us in the right direction. We must pray always for God's direction in making choices. God will not lead us into anything that He will not get us out of in His timing.
Do you ask God for help in making choices? Do you take time to listen for His answers? When He answers you in Scripture or otherwise, do you follow His instructions? Making the tough choices is not always easy, but when you allow God to lead you, you will be better off as a result.
