FWMBC Members and Friends,
Revival is badly needed in times like these.  I hope that you agree with me and will come out to a one day revival sponsored by the Willing Workers Ministry on September 24, 2010 at 7:00 pm. (This Friday night)  You will have an opportunity to revive your souls by singing, praying and praising God and the proceeds from this event will be used to help fund the ANGEL TREE PROGRAM that we sponsor to provide Christmas gifts to children of inmates at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Our guest speaker for this event will be Rev. Rose Veal.

Keep praying for our sick and shut in members.

GOD HOLDS THE FUTURE!

Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into heart of man, The things which God has prepared for those who love Him. (1 Corinthians 2:9

Do you ever worry about what tomorrow will bring?  You are not alone.  Life has many pitfalls that cause anxiety in our daily lives.  However it is comforting to know that God holds the future in his hands.  That is not to say that we don't have choices that can lead to consequences.  Nor is it to say that we will never experience difficulty as Christians.  However there is comfort in knowing that whatever tomorrow brings, God is still in control.

In the passage above, Paul tells the Corinthian Church that we cannot imagine all that God has in store for us in this life and for eternity.  God makes things happen on a moment by moment basis.  ALTHOUGH WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS, WE DO KNOW WHO HOLDS THE FUTURE.  Nothing is too hard for God.  No matter what you are facing in life, trust Him with your future.  He will take care of you.

Of course this passage says that God's preparation (of blessings) is for those who love Him.  Do you love the Lord?  Is He your all and all.  We know that God loves us and we know that a loving Father will always do what is best for His sons and daughters.  Certainly that is one reason why we can trust our future to Him.  We know that He will always have our best interest at heart.

Have you ever heard the Deacons say, "I love the Lord, He heard my cry?"  When you love the Lord, He WILL hear your cry and He will pity every groan.  We know that Jesus lives today.  And as the song says, "Because He lives, we can face tomorrow."

Accordingly, let's not worry about our future.  If we love the Lord, He will take care of us.
