FWMBC Members and Friends,
The oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and the Floods in many of the states are causing devastating effects.  We believe in prayer.  I will be speaking to our church in the near future regarding a 24 hour prayer vigil in the Sanctuary with teams of members who will pray for all of your concerns.  Each team will be available in 3 hour shifts for that 24 hour period. The "If God's People Will Pray" vigil (2nd Chronicles 7:14) will need your prayers as well. If you have special prayer request, feel free to email me and I will add them to the list.

And remember, please keep our sick and shut in members in prayer.

 GOD'S VIEW IS BETTER!

For He (God) looks to the ends of the earth, and sees under the whole heavens...
(Job 28:24)

Have you ever traveled by car on a two lane highway with a long line of cars ahead of you which are going very slow? You want to pull out and go ahead of them but you know that cars may be coming from the opposite direction at the time that you do so.  If you had communications with a helicopter flying above you, it could notify you when it was safe to pass.  The helicopter pilot would be able to see for miles and assure you of a safe journey.  In our lives, we constantly have to make decisions.  We know that all choices have consequences. The good news is that God has a better view that we do.  If we ask Him, He will let us know whether it is safe to pass or not.

"For instance, our view focuses on time and space.  But God's view is on eternity.  Our view focuses on our lives on earth.  But God's view focuses on our lives in Christ.   Our view  realizes that we have room to grow spiritually.  But God views us as finished products (Christian Discipleship-Steven Collins PhD)."
He sees us as we will become. And He will take care of us in the meantime.

Accordingly, as we travel the highways and byways of life, it is advisable that we stay in contact with the ONE above.  He can keep us safe and lead us away from harm and danger.  Just pray for God's Wisdom in all that we do.  After all, His view is better!
