This past Sunday afternoon 7 of our preachers made presentations regarding the 7 Seals mentioned in the Book Of Revelation.  I was blessed by their insights into one of the portions of the Bible that can sometimes be misunderstood.  We have been covering Matthew, chapters 24 and 25 that also deal with Eschatology.  Do you ever wonder what will the "End Times" be like on earth before the 2nd coming of Christ?  According to the Bible, it will be a difficult period like none we have ever experienced.  But the good news is that Christians will be raptured before that happens.  I hope that everyone that reads this Weekly Online is a Christian.  It makes all the difference!

Remember to pray for our sick and shut-in members.

WHO LOVES YOU?

For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38,39)

Some of us are old enough to remember the detective series entitled "Kojak."  Telly Savalas was a fast talking detective who would often state: "who loves ya, baby!"  It is assumed that everyone has someone who loves them, correct?  Of course I am also reminded of the lyrics in B.B. Kings song which state:  "Nobody loves me but my mother and she could be jiving too!" The point is, we cannot always be sure that others have unconditional love for us.

There are many people hurting today because of the trials and tribulations of life.  It is easy to become weary when you consider the fact that trouble seems to meet you at every turn.  Have you ever wondered why God allows those problems that you are having?  Does it seem that He stopped loving you because of something you did?  Well, Satan would like for us to think that God has abandoned us and left us to deal with life by ourselves.  After all, the Bible says that He is an "accuser" of the brethren (Rev. 12:10).

The Apostle Paul makes it clear that we don't need to wonder about God's love for Believers.  Present trials and sufferings are no indication of God's love being withheld from us.  He has never stopped loving us and He never will stop loving us.  Paul was "persuaded" that nothing imaginable could separate God's love from us.  For me. that is comforting.  I would like to believe that my wife loves me; and my daughters love me; and my mother too (and she is not jiving).  And I believe that other members of my family, and my church family and my friends also love me. But when the question is asked, "Who Loves You?"  I can always say, the Lord loves me.  And no one or nothing can separate me from that love.  That's good news.  Hallelujah!
