FWMBC Members and Friends,
I hope that you are doing well.  The following is a testimony from one of our readers:
Sherisha, our daughter came in contact with a neurologist during her stay at a local hospital February 12th-February 14th.  After he gave our family the results of her recent MRI and the reasons for her M.S. relapse, we iniquired about the Multiple Sclerosis "stem cell research" that we saw on CBS Morning News Show, February 10th.  Sherisha shared with her Doctor that she followed the website from the CBS Morning Show and placed her name on the list and was wondering if he was aware of any such list for Houston.  He acknowledged that he knows of the Houston MS "stem cell research" and that he would "move her name on the list."  Approximately, two weeks later, Sherisha received a call from the Multiple Sclerosis "stem cell research" group to confirm her inquiry.  This call informed her that her medical report qualified her for the "stem cell research" group.  Sherisha has been scheduled for her second "stem cell" research appointment April 8th.  I don't know what is ahead, but I do know that I have a personal relationship with God!  I love Him with all my heart; without Him I am nothing.  I am so happy that Mom and Dad (both deceasd) taught their little children to love God and learn of Him! Amen and thank you Jesus!  You can use our names!  We are okay with sharing this message to some that may not believe that God still blesses in the 21st century.   Sincerely,  Felice

What a blessing.  Let's keep Sherisha and Felice in our prayers.  We thank God for your praise testimonies.

 BRUISES FROM THE STRUGGLE

AND I WILL PUT ENMITY BETWEEN THEE AND THE WOMAN, AND BETWEEN THY SEED AND HER SEED; IT SHALL BRUISE THY HEAD, AND THOU SHALT BRUISE HIS HEEL.  (Genesis 3:15)

As we consider the importance of the day we celebrate as "Resurrection Sunday" (AKA Easter), we should not miss the message of the passage above.  After the temptation and the fall of Adam and Eve, God told the serpent that there would be a struggle between satanic forces and mankind.  This struggle between Satan and the woman would carry over to their offspring which is referred to as "seeds."    The offspring of the woman would eventually be Jesus Christ and His followers.  Those of us who are Christians are included in this category.  The offspring of Satan includes the demonic forces and those who serve his kingdom.  Satan would bruise the heel of Jesus Christ.  Certainly Satan and his followers cause great pain to Christian believers.  We know that the Cross was very agonizing for Jesus.   As believers we must carry our crosses and we will suffer as Jesus did.  Bruises are a part of the struggle.
However, Christ would bruise the head of Satan and his forces.  A bruise on the heel fails in comparison to a bruise on the head.  In essence, Christ would crush the head of Satan.  On Resurrection Sunday, we are celebrating the fact that the victory is won for believers in Jesus Christ.  We know that even though we may still encounter some bruises in the struggle, it is now a fixed fight.  We Win!
Are you feeling bruised today?  Are you tired from the struggle?  Does it appear that you don't have the strength to go on?  Be encouraged.  God's prediction has come of age.  We celebrate the fact that the seed of the woman, Jesus Christ, has prevailed against the seed of Satan.  When Jesus rose from the dead on that Sunday morning, He gave us the victory.  So be strong in the Lord!  It is true that you may still experience pain during the struggle, but the good news is the bruises are constantly being healed.  Hallelujah!
