PINOT EVIL
TUESDAY NIGHT TASTING

GM Mike Cicciarella has a special TNT in store for you this week when he will be pouring samples of several of our stunning Pinot Noir selections. Pinot Noir is a difficult to grow grape, that when done well, produces wines of stunning beauty. It is also a grape that expresses its terroir more so than any other grape. (Click the monkeys to learn more about this fickle grape).
This will be a chance for you to experience the differences in flavor profiles of Pinot Noir grown in California, Oregon, France and New Zealand. You could do that yourself by travelling the approximately 17,000 miles it would take you, OR, you could just come to Tastings and enjoy a great meal along with four delicious wines.
Remember, if you come for the tasting and then stay for dinner and order an entree with a value of at least $20, the cost of the tasting will be refunded on your final bill. Plus, this is a T³ eligible event so register for your chance to win one of two "Tastings Tailgate for Two" packages for the Pats vs. Cowboys game on Sunday.

This week we are inviting back our friend Bill McGoldrick who has just recently paired up with the stunning Pamela Stiebler to create an incredible acoustic & vocal duo that is gaining rave reviews around the area. We're very excited about the next in our series of blockbuster wine dinners. This next dinner may set a new high water mark in our series when we invite Winemaker Pierre Casenave from one of the oldest and most successful French Champagne houses, Veuve Clicquot. This will be the only wine dinner in the entire U.S. this year which a Veuve winemaker will attend.

Pierre will regal us with his tales of the storied history of Veuve Clicquot including the recent recovery of 47 bottles of Veuve that had gone down in a shipwreck in 1840. One of these bottles recently sold for 30,000 Euros making it the highest price ever paid for a bottle of champagne! While not quite as old as these bottles, Pierre will be bringing some very rare bottles of 1985 Veuve Rosé with him and they will be served alongside Chef Ben Lacy's incredible cuisine. We're following up a good whuppin' of the Jets with another Pats game this coming Sunday when we take on America's Team. Chef Ben's Gameday Menu was a major success and he'll be rolling a new one out this Sunday. If you haven't tried his chili yet, you really need to. It is definitely the best chili I've ever eaten and I have eaten alot of chili! Be sure to make Tastings your pre & post-game destination as we aim for a 5-1 record. |
TASTINGS TAILGATE FOR TWO ("T³")
Now a visit to one of Tastings' Tuesday Night Tastings or Live Music Performances can earn you and a friend a "Tastings Tailgate for Two". The package will include two tickets to an upcoming Patriots home game along with a certificate for 20% off your food purchases during a pre-game meal. To be eligible, you must attend a Tuesday Night Tasting or Live Music Performance or one of Tastings' special wine or beer dinners and submit an official entry form. Winners will be selected and notified before each Patriots home game. Upcoming T³ eligible events include:
