One of the best things about Spring is the arrival of the "Grand Trio of Spring".  What's that you say?? I'm talking about fiddleheads, ramps, and morels and we have 'em in abundance.  Chef Maue is showing them off in his delicious new Spring menu that was released on April 12th.

GM Mike Cicciarella

MIKE CICCIARELLA PROMOTED TO TASTINGS' GENERAL MANAGER & WINE DIRECTOR

  

We are thrilled to announce that Mike Cicciarella has taken over as GM & Wine Director effective last week.  Mike first joined the Tastings team in November 2008, and now as GM, he is taking a fresh, creative approach to service, brand development, and management style.  Mike's passion and love of music, he himself an entertainer, has led to the development of a live music program at Tastings featuring local acoustic artists showcased on Wednesday evenings.  Mike's friendly, outgoing and energetic personality inspires the staff with a sincere desire to serve the guests in a very special way.  His ultimate goal is to create a truly warm and inviting environment where he leads our guests into indulging themselves in the memorable Tastings' experience.

 

After attending Bryant University Mike began his career in the hospitality industry and moved through the ranks as server, bartender and shift leader, taking his first management role at 21. Mike has worked with many fine dining establishments such as award winning Eddie V's Edgewater Grille and the Wildfish Seafood Grille, in Scottsdale, AZ as well as having helped with openings of Sel de la Terre in the Natick Collection and the Back Bay, Boston.

Mike has developed a mature palate for fine dining, and a passion for fine wine while learning from Wine Directors and Sommeliers such as Sandy Block, Dave Cicciarella, Justin Weiner and Erik Johnson and hopes to pass on the benefits of his passion and experience to his guests.

You'll find a great hidden gem in the music style of Mike Tarara. Playing for years in bars/pubs, private events, parties and more venues, Mike Tarara has created a polished and smooth execution in his musical performance.  Writing has always been his passion since the early years in high school and throughout college. After 10 years and over 400 covers in all genres, playing solo shows with a 2 guitar and 3 part harmnony sound, Mike Tarara is taking back his position in the original world of music.

 

In his original show you'll find well crafted songs that reflect his love in all styles like soul, country, pop, rock and more. "I'm really excited to record this cd and give to the world the music I loved to create. Take what you want from it and enjoy!" Mike Tarara has been hidden amongst the bars and pubs over the years and it's time to hear him and what he's been able to do.
