Sara Thompson Returns

We are delighted to be welcoming back Sara to Tastings. People are raving about her recent performances at Tastings and you really don't want to miss her act. With a voice like Susan Tedeschi, a soul like Janis Joplin, and the sultriness of Norah Jones and Alecia Keys, new vocalist Sara Thompson is already making her mark on the local music scene. Known for her passion, vocal and song versatility, and powerful 6' stage presence she performs a mix of blues, blues rock, soul, R&B, pop/country, and contemporary rock. Whether performing acoustically as a duo (which she will be doing at Tastings) or rocking out with a full electric band, she has never ceased to impress, inspire, and all out entertain a crowd of any size. Mark you calendars now for a night of great food celebrating the Fall Harvest. As part of our ongoing love affair with Slow Food USA, we are hosting a very special RAFT dinner on the evening of October 7, 2010 at 6:30pm.
RAFT stands for Renewing America's Food Traditions. RAFT works with area farms to promote the cultivation of heirloom fruits and vegetables so we can restore and celebrate America's biologically and culturally diverse food traditions through conservation, education, promotion and regional networking. We have worked with them since we opened two years ago and we are proud to partner with them on what will be an amazing dinner.
