We are celebrating the return of regular season football to Gillette Stadium with the best pre-game meal that you can find in the NFL. Chef Matt Maue will once again be roasting a whole pig for your dining pleasure. Matt will be offering a delicious, freshly roasted pull pork sandwich with Carolina BBQ sauce with some kick-ass baked beans that will get you ready for the Pat's next Super Bowl run. Make Tastings your tailgate destination before Sunday's Pats game against the Bengals. Enjoy great food, wine, cocktails and beers on our outdoor patio which overlooks Gillette Stadium. We are teaming up with our good friends from White Barn Farm for a farm-to-fork benefit dinner to help make sure this historic family property remains a farm for generations to come. One of the really gratifying aspects of our focus on sustainable, local foods is that we get to partner with hard-working, young farmers like Kristy Raymond and Chistian Kantlehner. Be sure to check out their MISSION STATEMENT and then call us for a reservation to this fantastic dinner.
We're calling this event "Tastings at White Barn Farm" and we hope it is just the first in a series of fabulous farm dinners that we bring to you in partnership with area farms.
The date is Sunday, September 19th. Christy & Christian will welcome guests at 4pm, take a quick tour of the farm once everyone arrives, and sit down at 5pm. Chef Maue has created a wonderful five-course menu, based mostly on freshly harvested White Barn produce, but also featuring locally raised pork. The meal will be served at a long table outdoors under a tent at the farm. It is BYOB, so we encourage you to bring along your favorite wine or beer to accompany your meal. This is White Barn's first official farm dinner event so get in on what is hopefully the start of a great tradition.
The cost is $75 and reservations can be made by calling Tastings at 508.203.WINE(9463). Please mention any food allergies when you make your reservation. Seating is limited to just 30 people for this innaugural event. Tables are going fast and we expect to be sold-out within a couple of days, so call soon! Remember...at Tastings we want you to...

RAFT stands for Renewing America's Food Traditions. RAFT works with area farms to promote the cultivation of heirloom fruits and vegetables so we can restore and celebrate America's biologically and culturally diverse food traditions through conservation, education, promotion and regional networking. We have worked with them since we opened two years ago and we are proud to partner with them on what will be an amazing dinner.
