You can "click the pic" for a brief description of the characteristics of Old vs. New World Pinots.  The Burgundy region of France may have been the birthplace of Pinot Noir, but some of the best Pinots these days come from the New World.  Pinot thrives in places like Chile, California, New Zealand, & Oregon and you don't have forego funding your child's college fund to buy a bottle from these regions!  Pinot is notoriously difficult to make, but extraordinarily easy to drink.  See you Tuesday night!
