What is Slow Food?
Slow Food is an idea, a way of living and a way of eating. It is a global, grassroots movement with thousands of members around the world that links the pleasure of food with a commitment to community and the environment. Tastings is part of this movement and we think it makes a huge difference in the taste and quality of food that we serve you. In addition, it helps the environment by reducing carbon emissions associated with transporting food over thousands of miles. Lastly, it help keep our local farms in business so another generation can enjoy the fruits of their labors.
In October, we will be partnering with the Boston Chapter of Slow Food USA and RAFT ("Renewing America's Food Traditions") to bring you a very special dinner featuring heirloom produce and delicious, sustainably raised meats. Stay tuned for more details! |
