Tuesday Night Tasting
Tuesday, August 10th
Oaked or unoaked? Tropical fruits or minerality? Full-bodied and complex or light and fruity? Filtered or unfiltered? All of the above? (that gets my vote!) Few grape varietals present themselves in such varied ways as the venerable Chardonnay grape. Chardonnay is extremely versatile and thrives in many different climates from the cool northern Burgundy region of France to the blazing hot central regions of Argentina. At Tastings, we love to showcase how terroir can make a difference in a wine's taste and we are excited to showcase this fantastic varietal this week. Be sure to try the unfiltered Newton Chardonnay (a delicious high-end Napa Valley wine) and the super delicious and rare Lolonis Late Harvest Chardonnay. You will not find a better Chardonnay tasting anywhere else this summer!
Remember...come for the tasting and if you stay for dinner and order an entree with a value of at least $20, we will refund the cost of the tasting on your final bill

Introducing Sara Thompson Wednesday, August 11th
7 to 10pm
We are delighted to be able to introduce a new vocalist to Tastings' live-music scene. With a voice like Susan Tedeschi, a soul like Janis Joplin, and the sultriness of Norah Jones and Alecia Keys, new vocalist Sara Thompson is already making her mark on the local music scene. Known for her passion, vocal and song versatility, and powerful 6' stage presence she performs a mix of blues, blues rock, soul, R&B, pop/country, and contemporary rock. Whether performing acoustically as a duo (which she will be doing at Tastings) or rocking out with a full electric band, she has never ceased to impress, inspire, and all out entertain a crowd of any size.
