JOIN US FOR RESTAURANT WEEK TASTINGS' STYLE Tired of driving all the way into Boston for Restaurant Week, only to be served food produced in mass quantity in a packed restaurant with subpar service where they choose the menu? Don't be fooled by the hype and come dine at Tastings instead. Throughout Restaurant Week which runs Tuesday, March 14th through Thursday, March 19th (and then again the 21st -26th), Tastings will be offering our personalized Chef's Tasting Menu for all of our guests. For $35 per person, Tastings will send the chef to your table to talk to you about the days' best product sourced locally, grown organically, and always sustainable. This three course tasting experience can be expertly paired with wines for an additional $15 per person. As always, if you're in the mood to splurge, Tastings' Chefs will deliver a five course tasting for $59, paired with wine for an additional $20. Don't schlep, eat local. See you soon at Tastings.

"MEMORIES IN A BOTTLE"
We're a wine bar...and it is 2010, so it's only natural that we have a blog about our experiences with wine, right?? We get exposed to alot of very cool wine-related stuff in our day-to-day operations and in our wine country travels and we want to share it with our fellow wine afficianados. So "Memories In A Bottle" officially debuts today. We hope you find it interesting, educational, and most of all, FUN! All of us at Tastings, including the owners, will take turns posting to this blog so you will get varying perspectives on the über-cool world of wine. Saturday, March 6th: Rich & Matt will be on stage at the James Beard House in New York City preparing a Spanish Wine Lover's Dinner with authentic Spanish cuisine paired with wines from Jorge Ordonez's Fine Estates of Spain.
Tuesday March 9th and continuing throughout March: Rich & Matt will be returning from the James Beard House in NYC and will be featuring various dishes from their "performance".
Tuesday, March 9th 6 to 8pm: Tuesday Night Tastings featuring Chardonnay's from California's Sonoma Valley, Italy, and South Africa.
March 14th-19th & 21st-26th: Restaurant Week Tastings' Style featuring 3-course Chef's Tastings Menus (see details above).
Tuesday, March 23rd, 6 to 8pm: Tuesday Night Tastings featuring Sauvignon Blancs from California, France and New Zealand.
Thursday, March 25th 6:30pm: Bourbon & Wild Game Dinner featuring wild boar, buffalo, and chocolates paired with award-winning artisinal bourbons from Buffalo Trace.
