The last tasting of the decade will go out with a bang when we invite Westport Rivers Winery back to sample some of their delicious sparkling wines and some of their terrific, locally grown white wines. Westport Rivers, located in Dartmouth, MA, is a world-class, award-winning producer of sparkling wine using the original methode champenoise. Come join us for a tasting of three delicious sparklers along with two whites, all locally produced right here in Massachusetts.

RING IN THE NEW DECADE AT TASTINGS

Thursday, December 31st

Join use for a very festive evening and help us send 2009 packing along with the recession that hurt us all. We will be offering several different options designed to suit all types of interests including:

First Seating: A first seating between 4 and 6pm that includes a 3-course Prix Fixe menue for just $20.10.
Gala Seating: A second seating between 7:45 and 9pm that includes a special "Chef's Whim" 5-course Prix Fixe menu for $75 per person. This option also includes admission to the party that begins at 10pm. You can have wines paired with each course for an additional $25 per person.
New Year's Eve Party: The party begins in earnest at 10pm when we offer a raw bar, dessert station, a champagne toast at midnight, party favors and dancing to the tunes of DJ Frank. All of this for just $20.10 per person.

INTRODUCING
THE TASTINGS WORLD OF WINE PASSPORT CLUB

Beginning on January 11th, Tastings is rolling out a fun, educational and rewarding new program called "The Tastings World of Wine Passport Club". So what is this all about? It's a fun way to explore our Wine Spectator award-winning wine list, learn about wine from all over the world and then earn some great rewards when you finish your journey. We have created a special list of wines, all of which we offer by the glass, organized by country and region. When you enroll in the program, we will create a personalized wine passport for you to keep track of your trek through the wine world. Each time you purchase a glass of eligible wine, we provide you with tasting notes for the wine and record your purchase on your passport. When you complete your journey through 50 wines, you will receive a $50 Tastings Gift Card and a beautifully engraved Tastings wine glass from world-renowned glass manufacturer Riedel of Kufstein, Austria. There is going to be a very special gift for the first guest to finish the journey (hint...there's a painting of it behind the bar at Tastings).
