Syrah and Shiraz are genetically identical grape varietals, yet produce wines that are very different in style. Join us for a delicious and informative comparison of two Syrahs from France and two Shirazs from Australia. This is a great opportunity to see how terroir, winemaking style and even culture affect the taste and characteristics of wines made from the identical grape. Could the French be any more different than the Aussies? Sophisticated and restrained vs. brash and bold.
