Casa Lapostolle, founded as a Chilean-French joint venture in 1994 and now wholly owned by the Marnier Lapostolle family that controls Grand Marnier liqueur, has been a pacesetting, pioneering winery in Chile since day one. Under the direction of chairperson Alexandra Marnier Lapostolle, Casa Lapostolle remains a forward-thinking and innovative leader in Chile's ever-growing wine
industry. Best known for its dedication to the Apalta Vineyard in the Colchagua Valley and its flagship wine Clos Apalta, Casa Lapostolle, which employs the esteemed winemaking consultant Michel Rolland, produces 180,000 cases of premium wine per year, about 60% of which is exported
to the U.S.. For helping to establish high standards in Chile and receiving worldwide recognition, and for producing respected value wines as well as its top cuvées, Casa Lapostolle is Wine Enthusiast's New World Winery of the Year for 2008.

In celebration of our Earth Day festivities this week, we are proud to be serving Casa Lapostolle wines at our Tuesday Tastings.  Casa Lapostolle is in the 3rd year of a 5 year project to become 100% certified organic.  We applaud their efforts and hope you will enjoy their incredibly wines!

Come celebrate Earth Day with us as we collaborate with Organic Valley, Chef's Collaborative and Ward's Berry Farm to host the East Coast Earth Dinner. Join us as select restaurants across the country all simultaneously host earth dinners together. Our Earth Dinner Celebration is an opportunity for you to explore where each ingredient on your table comes from. Who grew the food? How was it grown? What is the geographic origin of the food?  The Earth Dinner is a joyful, animated and inspiring dinner, connecting people to the earth, their food and each other.

We are offering a 3 course, pre-fixe menu for $35 per person (+$15 for organic/biodynamic wine pairings). The menu will be developed the week of Earth Day to ensure the freshest possible ingredients from the market, local farms, ranches and fisheries. Check our website for updates on the menu.

Reservations are recommended. Please call 508-203-9463
