Please join us at the Spotlight on Philanthropy on March 6 at the Cram Alumni House (83 Federal Street) at Bowdoin College.
The Spotlight is an informal event that brings together our community -- New Girls from Portland, Bowdoin, Lewiston, and Bangor; members of the Regional Advisory Councils from across the state; leaders in Women Standing Together; donors; board members; and more -- to talk about our role as women, leaders, and philanthropists. It's a fun opportunity to be part of a community, working and networking across programmatic and geographic lines. During the 2010 Spotlight, we will delve into our perceptions of ourselves as philanthropists and collectively create a vision for how we might step up and step into the role more fully. Tapping into the wisdom, energy and ideas of our community, we will gain a clearer understanding of the ways in which women can accelerate the rate of change through our roles as philanthropists. We will also dig into our 2010 grantmaking, and you are invited to participate!
