Greetings! .
Did you have a nice Labor Day holiday? I did. I tried to make the most of the few days I took off.
Our
family went to Chuck Swan National Forest and Wildlife Management Area
over the weekend for a picnic and enjoyed a great place called Mossy Springs.

The grandchildren drank water from the natural springs and of course got soaked playing in it!
We
have a house on the lake that's for sale and we went up to cut the
grass and found a baby squirrel that had fallen or been tossed out of
the nest, so we brought it home and called a local Wildlife
Rehabilitator to take it. Unfortunately, after just one day, the poor
little guy didn't make it, but our entire family rallied around that
little squirrel and we actually had a little funeral for him.
One
of the main goals I had for myself was to complete some training for my
business. Over the last several months, I have been working toward
obtaining the certification of Internet Marketing Specialist (See Featured Article)
and I'm thrilled to announce that I achieved that designation over this
past weekend! This was a great course and really opened my eyes to the
"endless" opportunities that are waiting on entrepreneurs and small
business owners who understand the need to market their business and
services on the Internet.
I hope your holiday was full of fun
and you accomplished your goals too. But, if you still have tasks that
are falling behind or things you just can't get around to, give me a
call. Working with a Virtual Assistant is one of the best investments
you can make for your business.
Virtually yours,
Terri

A New Way To Market Your Business |
When I first started my VA business, I designed and printed business cards, made a nice brochure and hit the street, passing them out to everyone I met. This is still a great way to market your business, but with the Internet controlling more of our time and attention and with the introduction of Web 2.0, as business professionals we must look to other technologies to help with our marketing needs.
My job as a virtual professional is to keep on top of the ever-growing technologies and how they can benefit my clients. I saw the need to increase my skills in the Internet Marketing area and I selected to take a course offered through VAClassroom.com. What a great course! Not only for virtual professionals, but for anyone who would like to learn how to utilize the Internet to build their business.
Here are some of the modules offered at VAClassroom:
- Internet Marketing Foundations / Online Market Research
These skills are some of the most demanded areas that successful business owners need. If you don't know how to do them, then I highly recommend VAClassroom and if you don't WANT to do them, I highly recommend A Virtual Business Solution!
