Greetings!
Don't you love visiting with old friends and catching up with them? I was traveling to Nashville for a training seminar in July (See Featured Article, Why Do You Give?) and didn't really want to travel alone, so I asked my Mom to go with me. Of course, not wanting her to just "hang around" while I was in the seminar for seven hours, I called our former neighbor who now lives in Nashville to see if she would "MomSit" for me. She was thrilled and they spent the entire day just reminiscing on old times; of things they did and places they went together and the many times they talked while hanging their laundry out on the clothes line that split our property lines.
I'm thankful to have had my Mom go with me to keep me company on the trip, but mostly, I'm thankful for the seven hours I was able to give her to spend with her dear friend.

While attending a training seminar in Nashville last month, I was asked that question. Why do you give? Do you give to get? Or do you give to give.
When I began this virtual assistant business, I wanted to use my talents and skills to work for other people and be able to do it from home! That was more of the "give to get" scenario. As I have grown, both in business as well as in faith, I have found that true success comes from a giving heart.
I have been so blessed with the wonderful people that I support and have met through this business. And one group is the Send Out Cards (SOC) team that I am priviledged to be part of. I joined (SOC) because I thought it would be a great enhancement to my business and a service I could provide my clients to help them be more proactive with their follow-up and contact management of customers and prospects. Well, all of that is true, but the incredible people that I have met through SOC is the real bonus.

My SOC Team of GIVERS!
When was the last time you got a card in the mail from someone? Not an email but a real card, delivered by the mailman. How did it make you feel?
Be a Giver to Give!
I'll give the first 10 people who email me at tbrooks@avirtualbiz.com a free trial of Send Out Cards. Can you think of two people you would like to send a heartfelt card to? Let me help you tell them how you feel.
