Happy July 4th!
I'm looking forward to hot dogs, apple pie, homemade ice cream and lots of fun with my family this weekend. I hope you are planning something special too in recognition of our country's independence.

| What is a Virtual Assistant You Ask?
My standard answer is, "A Virtual Assistant is a small business owner who provides remote administrative, financial and creative support to busy professionals from their home office."
But a virtual assistant (VA) is so much more to the people they support. VA's offer a wide variety of services from bookkeeping to database management. We also offer event planning as well as real estate support.
When I first started, I looked for a "niche" for marketing my business, so I decided to become certified as a Real Estate Professional Assistant  through the National Association of Realtors.
I have learned so much since I started this exciting new venture just a year ago. I have met many wonderful people along the way and made life-long friends. My "niche" has changed a bit in that along with the other services I offer, I am becoming certified as an Internet Marketing Specialist. (More on that in the next issue)
I'm very thankful to have been blessed with a business that I can serve others through the knowledge and skills I have gained through the years.
And it's not to bad to be able to work in your pajamas, either!!
