I don't know how many of my readers have ever experienced a medium reading  but I do know that all mediums are not the same.   Why is that?  

All mediums work with energy and no two energies from spirit are the same and nor is the energy the same with any reader. Combined with those energies is the energy of the client who goes to a reader.   

Lately I have been asked so many questions about this type of reading that I thought I would give you some insights in this months newsletter.   

Here are a few of the most commonly asked questions:  

Client:  Can I request any spirit to come in and is there any guarantee you will get them?  

While on this question let me briefly explain a few things.  When we die we are often greeted by loved ones and they are not always our parents or spouses etc.  You will definitely be met by your guides/angels and in the acceptance of your arrival into the spirit world you will also have an instant knowing of what you had chosen as your life's lessons and whether or not you achieved them in that life time. You will know if you created karmic debt with any person while you lived on earth and if so you must deal with that in your next life and with the same soul.  Karma is the law of cause and affect and everything you do to another human beings is accountable in spirit. There is no guarantee when working with the spirit world and we cannot make any spirit come. We try to open our channeling to what is in the room at that time and do the best we can.     

Client:  Why do some spirits come in and others not?    

That is a tough one to answer because I do not know for certain why that is. I do know that many souls seem to move on quickly and they detach from all emotions in spirit and chose to move on with their new journeys. I would say that over 80% do not stay earth bound  and when they do it does not seem to be longer than a year or so.  Some may have made a contract at death saying, " I will never leave you." and perhaps this keeps them closer to us; some are likely excited to come back and chose to move on fast. No one knows for sure. It is important to know that we have no control over who wants to come in and we cannot make your brother, mother, father show up. It is as it is.  I have had spirit come in that have been gone for over a hundred years but that is not often.   

Client:  Do all mediums get names and if not why not?

Firstly, it is important to know that spirits do not communicate the same way they did on earth.  They do not have a voice box, throat , tongue etc. So they communicate with a vibrational energy. Many sound like they are mumbling a series of sounds that may sound like their remembered earthly names. Some times spirit are strong with impressions to a medium or sounds that may sound like a name or word. I may get a sound that sounds to me like " John" and I can only ask you if you know some one with that name and if so do you want me to try and hold their energy to communicate further.  Think of a light switch being flickered off and on and that is what I have to work with most  of the time.  From other mediums I know, many do not get names but we do get impressions. My name success is about 85-90% .    

I realize it is tough emotionally to go into this type of reading and to spend the money for something that may not work but that happens in many industries from  trades to white collars. Life does not give guarantees.   

Awhile back I had an unhappy customer and I was sad to hear that but I cannot; nor can any medium make spirit come in.  The good part is that this has only happened to me twice in my many, many  years of readings.   

Some years back I had a family come to try and reach their daughter who was killed in a car accident and they were in great emotional pain. They were not satisfied with the police report on how the accident had happened. They were hoping I could shed some light on it.  The father was very skeptical, the mother overly emotional, a few friends of their daughter and an aunt.  So here sat 5 emotional energies; some with fear, dread and disbelief, some with hope and in deep pain. Does this energy make it easier or harder for a medium?    Often it does for me.  

I was able to tell them what happened with enough  "proof"; which was an accurate description of the car, where the accident had happened and to acknowledge that one of the friends in the room was in the accident; which stunned them. I also told them that she had no memory of the exact moment it happened as I saw her asleep in the back seat; which she verified.  

I hope this may help you to understand this type of reading a little bit better.
