Southampton High School is having a "Jean" drive.

500 pairs of jeans will insulate one home. President Obama at a Home Depot recently, talking about the Recovery Act, described insulation as "sexy"- was he perhaps alluding to this denim version?! Grab all those old jeans in your closet and take them over to The Southampton High School. (141 Narrow Lane). The collection bin is in the main office where the Rotary Interact Club is collecting jeans to be recycled and turned into insulation for homes. Deadline to dropoff: March 31.

"If Americans would choose seasonal food grown through sustainable techniques by local farmers, if we would serve caring meals at the family table rather than scarfing Happy Meals in the minivan, we would restore family values, transform our communities and stabilize our environment. We would also enjoy ourselves more." Alice Waters

Ride the Zone - a revolutionary spin on Spin, in East Hampton. These bikes move from side to side
ensuring a total body workout! While sweating off calories, you will also be helping the planet.
We caught Ride the Zone being green by selling water in paper/Tetra Pak containers from O.N.E

recyclable too! Say 'No' to Plastic!
