Exciting changes at Angel Faces!

I am pleased to announce Jennifer Tokatyan as Angel Faces' new and first Executive Director.

Jennifer first began working with Angel Faces as a full-time volunteer in February, 2010.  She led the coordination of the spa and healing touch experience at the 2010 retreat and then contributed her skills and experience in leadership and organizational development to a number of different Angel Faces projects throughout the remainder of the year. 

I had confidence she would continue to play a huge part in strengthening and expanding our mission.

Jennifer has over ten years in executive leadership positions and seventeen years of Human Resources experience across multiple industries.  She has successfully built, launched and led a number of functions/departments and strategic initiatives within organizations.  In her previous corporate position, she was responsible for leading human resources, information technology, process improvements and organization development to ensure that the company was able to grow effectively while providing a high level of service to its customers.

Jennifer comes from a family of artists and has referred to herself as a "business artist."  She combines intelligent business perspective with creative organization effectiveness skills to create a masterpiece.  Jennifer has a talent for seeing the full business picture and the confidence to propose impactful solutions.  Angel Faces is ready for growth.

Jennifer graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (with marketing emphasis) and completed her Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Chapman University.

To quote Jennifer, "From the moment I first met Lesia and the volunteers, and then the girls at the retreat; I knew my heart had found a home.  I am filled with excitement, gratitude and appreciation for this opportunity to build on the current foundation of Angel Faces to position it for growth in order to reach more adolescents who will blossom and grow as a result of the miracles that take place through their experience with Angel Faces."

Jennifer is passionate about personal development and helping people unleash all their potentials.  In her spare time, Jennifer loves being active including biking, running, swimming, beach volleyball, and hiking, as well as spending quality time with friends and family. 

I am honored to have Jennifer be a part of the Angel Faces Team.  Her professional wisdom coupled with her gentle, yet strong spirit has and will continue to contribute to the girls' lives and the exciting growth of the Angel Faces program. 

My new title is Founder and CEO of Angel Faces.  I am still overseeing much of the psycho/social components of Angel Faces, including our retreats, Angels in Flight follow-up program, newsletters, and needs of our girls.  You will also be seeing me at speaking engagements on a national level to spread the story of Angel Faces and what all of us can learn from our angels' courage and growth.  

I am very excited and thrilled with this expansion of our team.  We will be able to reach more girls, hold more retreats, and expand our mission.  Welcome Jennifer into your hearts and support her as you have Angel Faces.
