| Dear Friend of Fred,
If it is possible, it seems like Fall is ending and Spring is beginning here in the Dry Creek Valley... Cold and rainy one day, sunny the next! It sure keeps it interesting.
The next shipment of wines will be shipping out on May 17th, and we ask that you please notify us of any information changes by this Friday the 14th, so we can get your wines to you in a timely fashion. We will be keeping an eye on the weather, and will hold shipments until a cooler week if locations are too hot.
For those of you in the area (or looking for an excuse to come visit), we will be hosting a Wine Club Lunch on Saturday, May 22nd from 12-4pm. Please let us know by this Monday, May 17th if you can make it. Cost is $25/person for lunch, a delicious array of wines, bocce ball, and good fun in the sun.
We are offering to "Double Your Shipment" for the same shipping cost as the regular three bottles, at the bottom of the email. Read more about the wines below, and we'll look forward to hearing from you, or seeing you soon.

2007 Sangiovese, Dry Creek Valley Tasting Notes:
Our 100% Sangiovese is produced from fruit grown from two exceptional small plantings in Dry Creek Valley. Aromas of cherry with hints of earthiness offer an alluring entry. With its firm acids and nuanced flavors, our Sangiovese fits perfectly into the food-friendly category.
Wine Club Price: $16/bottle ($15 by the case)
2007 Zinfandel, "Tradizionale" Tasting Notes:
A traditional field-blend vineyard planted in the 1920's; a small portion is planted with mixed black varieties such as Petite Sirah, Carignane and Mataro, along with a few white grape varieties. Lush raspberry jam intertwined with white pepper create tempting aromatics and flavors. The firm acid gives structure to the layers of fruit flavors to create a food-friendly, easy-to-drink and hard to-put-down Zinfandel. 375ml bottles available. Wine Club Price: $23.20/bottle ($21.75 by the case) 2007 Shinbone Shiraz/Cabernet Blend
Tasting Notes: Our Shiraz/Cab blend combines fruit forward valley Syrah and structured mountain grown Cabernet to create an easy drinking yet full bodied red wine. Blueberry, blackberry, chocolate and hints of mineral flavors dominate. Our way of paying homage to our winemaking brethren down under.
Wine Club Price: $22.40/bottle ($21 by the case) |
