Announcement: Four Canadian Consulates in the U.S. Close
With the recent announcement that Foreign Affairs Depart of Canada has received a six percent cut to it's spending in the March 29th budget, it was thought that changes would be made to a few of the existing 21 consular trade offices. It was learned at the end of April that the Consulates in Raleigh, Phoenix, Philadelphia and Anchorage would be closing. A small satellite office in Princeton, New Jersey will also be closing. These changes will have no effect on Consular services.
