Montreal claims the 98th Grey Cup over Saskatchewan 21-18
The Montreal Alouettes won the Grey Cup for the 2nd year in a row, by holding off the Saskatchewan Roughriders 21-18 in a rematch of last years final. With the win, the Alouettes become the first team to repeat as Grey Cup champions since the Toronto Argonauts accomplished the feat in 1996-97. Avon Cobourne scored two touchdowns in victory and Jamal Richardson was named the MVP of the CFL's title game after he caught eight passes and had a game-high 109 yards.
The game was played in Edmonton before an estimated 63,317. The game time temperature was -4C.
