semaine du transport collectif
Join Eco-St.Lo and the SLC community to celebrate sustainable transportation on the week of "transports collectifs et actifs" Sept 16 to 22.

On Tuesday September 18, join Le Défi sans auto au boulot 2012.

If feasible for you, go Car Free or Car-Lite and make a difference by bicycling, walking, carpooling, or taking transit.

Register even if you're already using these transportation alternatives, and have the chance to win several interesting prizes (bicycle, iPad, 2 parachute jumps, one night at Hotel Pur, tickets at La Bordée)

register online at :

http://www.transportsviables.org/stca/programmation-2012/dimanche-18-septembre/184-dsa

On Tuesday, the first 50 persons to bike to the College will be given a small energetic gift by Eco St. Lo members.

On Tuesday and Thursday, at lunchtime at the cafeteria, there will be a kiosk where enthusiastic members will provide information and advices on the RTC bus network.

On Thursday 20, the new SLC Challenge Bike-Bus-Car will compare commuting time for SLC members from different neighborhood. We already have Team Val-Belair, Team Ancienne-Lorette, Team Montcalm and hopefully Team Duberger. If you are interested to organize a team for your neighborhood, find two other SLCers or let me know and we will try to match you with somebody else and give you the details.

And finally, leave your car at home on Saturday September 22!  Public transportation is FREE on Saturday September 22 on the North and South Shore, including the ferry.

Once more register even if you're already using these transportation alternatives, and increase your chances to win prizes.

There will also be a local draw for all the week's participants. Get your coupon from Eco St. Lo members.
