Here is a little bit of info about next semester and stuff

REMEMBER TO ENTER IN YOUR AGENDA AND TELL YOUR BOSS:

FRIDAY, AUGUST 17TH - WELCOME DAY 2012 FOR ALL SLC STUDENTS!

Welcome What will be happening? All kinds of things but here are a few examples:
- Your official timetable will be given to you as well as your book list, student profile, computer access code, locker number and agenda.

- ID cards/Bus card photos will be taken for new students and returning students who did not have a card last year. ID cards are obligatory to have access to the library and other SLC services and activities.

- The bookstore is open for you.
- The used book sale is in the cafeteria. This is a one shot deal so don't miss it!

FITNESS CENTER SUMMER ACTIVITIES

Fitness centre

Membership is $40. Summer membership begins now and ends on August 17, 2012. Athletes who had a membership included for the year are good for the summer.

Summer hours are:
Monday to Friday 7:00 to 18:30
Saturday and Sunday: 12:00 to 15:30

Career & Educational Counselling

Counselling Services will be available until June 1, 2012 (maternity leave). To schedule an appointment, send me a MIO (or e-mail). My office is located in room 254 (library).

In August, we will have a new guidance counsellor to help you out during the year.

They are scheduled to be emptied and cleaned next week.

Nothing is kept or put aside for your return.

You should also check out the lost and found table at reception. The contents of this table will be given to charity next week.

Should you be planning to travel in 2011-2012, please verify the academic calendar before reserving your trip.
If you plan a trip during the semester or during the exam period, you run the risk of failing the course.

BRING A LOCK ON WELCOME DAY.

Claim your locker!
Friday, August 17th, Welcome Day, you will receive your locker assignment. It is highly recommended that you bring a lock with you and put it on your locker immediately. This is the best way to avoid locker problems on the first day of classes. If you have a problem with the locker you have been attributed, do not grab another. Locks will be cut if found on the wrong lockers. Please see Joanne in room 272 for help or more info. jgosselin@slc.qc.ca
