Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 24th, at 12:00 the candidates will present themselves one last time to the student body in the cafeteria. This will be followed by the vote which will take place on your LEA. The portal will be opened between 13:00 and 16:00. Don't forget to vote!

For our SLC Lion teams the season is now over.
Congratulations to:
Men's Hockey Team for their third banner in a row!
Golf Team:Josee Doyon won the CCAA women's individual title with a remarkable two-day total of 148. Her closest rival was 10 strokes behind her. The SLC Golf team was in PEI for the 2011 PING CCAA Golf Nationals.The men's team won the Fair Play and Sportsmanship Award.
Cross Country Team:The two SLC Lions endurance teams representing the College at Pentathlon des Neiges won the inter-collegiate banners in their categories.
Thank you to all of our athletes for the hard work and dedication. Also a special mention to our Lions Graduates. Good luck with your future plans next fall. Thank you to all our supporters and see you next year.

Results of the drinking water blind taste taste:
SLC favorite drinking water
According to our 43 participants in the water tasting contest on SLC Earth Day, St. Lawrence carbon-filtered tap water tastes the best (27 out of 43) and Evian bottled-water tastes the worst (16 out of 43). Labrador bottled-water and SLC unfiltered tap water finished in between. Thanks to all the participants.

Are you involved in cultural or community activities here at St. Lawrence? If so, you are invited to the St. Lawrence Culture and Community Banquet, to be held Thursday, April 26. Awards will be given to our most committed students! This banquet will be followed by the last Open Mic of the season.

|  IMAGINATION 2012 - WRITING CONTEST PRIZE WINNERS Congratulations to the winners of the Writing Contest! 1st prize - $500: Alyson Mace-Reardon from Cslc for her short story The Price of Peace. 2nd prize -$350: Kevin Jetté from CEGEP Limoilou for his short story Dream. 3rd prize - $150: Arnaud Hamelin from SLC for his essay Tolerance Must End. The prizes, worth $1000 in all, were handed out Friday, April 13th at the Morrin Centre by authors and contest judges Rick Salutin and David Homel, who respectively awarded the 1st and 3rd prizes. Paul Almond, Honorary President of the ImagiNation 2012: Writers' Festival, handed out the 2nd prize. |
