To all students registered. Please meet in the cafeteria Thursday morning for 8:15 at the latest. T-shirts and snacks will be distributed. The bus leaves the college at 8:30 sharp!

We will be needing help getting some of our students to and from their activity.  If you would like to donate transportation time that would also be greatly appreciated.  Please see Joanne.  

 

Thursday, April 19th is a day dedicated to giving back to the community.  Classes are cancelled to allow our staff and students to donate some time to others.   

   

EARTH DAY CELEBRATION ACTIVITIES

Earth Day 2Tuesday, April 17, from 12:30 to 14:00 in the cafeteria

 

* We will challenge your knowledge of the environment with a few games;

* There will be a water taste test, to see which water tastes best! You might be surprised!

-* You'll also be able to sign a pledge tree and commit to adopting greener daily habits.

* Bring your used plastic bags, to contribute to new artistic bags.

 

Prizes and gift certificates will be awarded to participants!

Eco St Lo Group

Book drive 2012

The SLC Book Drive is now taking place. A box may be found in front of the library and a second one in the staff lounge for you to drop your old textbooks, workbooks, or any other book in good condition. Old editions are welcome as well. The books will be sent to Better World Books to be sold to college students, and the funds raised will be used to promote literacy in underdeveloped countries.

MS WalkOn April 29, 2012, we will be hundreds walking to support research on Multiple Sclerosis.

I will be walking especially for Mélanie, my son's wife, but also for every person that suffers from this disease.

Please, help support the research.

This unique job fair hosts employers from the tourism, hotel and food and beverage industries. The job fair will be open from 10:30 to 15:00 and a free shuttle bus will be operating between St. Lawrence and the École hôtelière de la Capitale.
