The St. Lawrence Lions Men's Hockey Team earned their third straight Provincial Championship Monday by sweeping the regular season champions St-Laurent Patriotes.

Thursday, April 19th is a day dedicated to giving back to the community. Classes are cancelled to allow our staff and students to donate some time to others.
What will you be doing? Come to room 272 or contact Nadezhda Vasileva and Kerry-Ann Marcotte for a list of available places who asked for some help.
We will be needing help getting our students to and from their activity. If you would like to donate transportation time that would also be greatly appreciated. Please see Joanne.

Present during various events, three business students will be selling $3 wristbands where profits will go towards the school auditorium! Keep an eye open for our advertisement which has all the details!
|  Clothing drive for Africa . Items donated will be shipped to African countries by the CSCODI (collectif de sensibilisation communautaire pour le développement intègre). Students will be in the cafeteria on Tuesday, April 10, Thursday, April 12 and Friday, April 13 to collect items donated by the SLC community.
 Help feed the kids, buy a cookie!
On Tuesday, April 10 and Thursday, April 12 students with the Business Program will be selling cookies in the main hall. All profits will go to the Club des Petits Déjeunes du Québec.

A walk to raise funds for the Auberges du Coeur Foundation will be held on April 14th from 18:00 to 23:00 on the Plains of Abraham. People have to form a team of 4 to 10 people and raise a minimum amount of $20 per person to participate. For more info: Élisabeth Rousseau Blanchet:

SLC's Book Drive will take place from Tuesday, April 10th to Wednesday, April 18th. A box will be placed in front of the library for you to drop your old textbooks, workbooks, or any other book in good condition. Old editions are welcome as well. The books will be sent to Better World Books to be sold to college students, and the funds raised will be used to promote literacy in underdeveloped countries. Come and meet us every day in front of the library as we will collect books and answer questions! |

|  Looking for a Summer Job The "Salon de l'emploi en Alimentation et Tourisme 2012" will be held on Monday April 16th, 2012 at the École hôtelière de la Capitale. This unique job fair hosts employers from the tourism, hotel and food and beverage industries. The job fair will be open from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm and a free shuttle bus will be operating between St. Lawrence and the École hôtelière de la Capitale.
