HOCKEY LIONS MAKE IT TO THE LEAGUE FINAL FOR THE THIRD STRAIGHT YEAR!

Semi-Final results:Sunday, March 25: Laflèche 2 - 4 Lions Saturday, March 31: Lions 1 - 5 Laflèche Sunday, April 1: Laflèche 4 - 6 Lions Off to the finals! The lions will now play the St-Laurent Patriotes in a best-of-5 final. The first game is set for Friday, 19:30 at St-Laurent. The second game of the series will be Sunday, April 8 at 19:00 a the Complexe sportif multidisciplinaire l'Ancienne-Lorette. The Lions are undefeated at home during the playoffs, but winless on the road. To bring the home atmosphere on the road, the Lions are organizing a bus for fans to make the trip. The following CEGEPS now offer the T. en réadaptation technique: Beauce-Appalaches and Thetford. Both will accept 15 students. Students can apply to this program through SRACQ (www.sracq.qc.ca).
Admissions CEGEPS: The deadline to apply for second-round admissions through SRAM is April 23. Students who have applied for first-round admissions will receive an answer online April 10. UPCOMING ACTIVITIES AND MEETINGS
|  Clothing drive for Africa. Items donated will be shipped to African countries by the CSCODI (collectif de sensibilisation communautaire pour le développement intègre). Students will be in the cafeteria on Tuesday, April 10, Thursday, April 12 and Friday, April 13 to collect items donated by the SLC community.
 Help feed the kids, buy a cookie!
On Tuesday, April 10 and Thursday, April 12 students with the Business Program will be selling cookies in the main hall. All profits will go to the Club des Petits Déjeunes du Québec.
Did you know that your body contains 5 litres of blood? We only want 0.45 L. Come on down...  SLC will hold its annual blood drive for Hema Québec on Thursday, April 12, from 14:00 to 21:00 in the gym.

Participants will have their head shaved in the Cafeteria We want to know if you are interested in putting a price on your head. If so, please contact me by MIO or e-mail (audrey_ann_lavoie@hotmail.com ).  You are invited to an upcoming author's conference at the College on Friday April 13th from 13:00-14:00 in rooms 348-349. The conference will be given by the award winning , and Golden Globe Award nominee, author, director and producer Paul Almond who will be in Quebec City for the ImaginaNation Literary Festival. Everyone is Welcome!  A walk to raise funds for the Auberges du Coeur Foundation will be held on April 14th from 18:00 to 23:00 on the Plains of Abraham.

 SLC REACHES OUT
Thursday, April 19th is a day dedicated to giving back to the community. Last year, hundreds of students and employees of Champlain St. Lawrence dedicated one day to make a difference by taking on volunteer projects that meet the needs of the Greater Quebec Area community. We want to do even better this year! Students and staff are asked to look around them and see where they can help and donate some of their time. Come to room 272 to register your interest or your activity, individually or as a group and REACH OUT. This year, to add a little bit more fun, we will present a trophy to the group or program that will have been the most active on this day.
