SLC Background
Important Important information for returning students

Fall 2012 Registration Procedures
Tuesday, March 27 to Thursday, March 29, 2012  room 235.
Why is it important to pay your Registration Fees on those dates?
This payment reserves your place for next year. We are currently in the admissions process and, should you fail to indicate your intention to return by paying your registration fee on time, we will consider that you are leaving St. Lawrence and assign your place to a new student. This situation would be regrettable if your intention is to be with us next semester.

We will soon activate the course selection proposal module and we want to make sure that we include all returning students.
SHOULD YOU BE EXPERIENCING DIFFICULTIES IN MEETING THIS DEADLINE, PLEASE SEE BETTY ABLESON IN ROOM 235 TODAY.  FOR MORE INFO SEE YOUR MIO
Your payment should be:
* in the amount of $158.00 by credit card on OMNIVOX
or by cash, cheque or debit card in Room 235 (Betty Ableson).
* If you pay by cheque, please write your name and student # on the FRONT of your cheque. Cheque payable to: Champlain Regional College.
* between 8h30 - 12h00 and 13h00 - 16h00
* NO POSTDATED CHEQUES* WILL BE ACCEPTED (see your MIO for more info)

PELURE DE BANANE

Defi Pelure de BananeAgain this year, SLC will participate in the "Défi Pelure de Banane ".

In 2009 we actually came in first place in the region against the bigger cégeps. What did we win you ask? A truck load of bananas and we loved it! They were all donated to Maison l'Aube Rivière.

During the week of March 26th, bananas and apples will be available around school to motivate and help students and staff participate in the "défi".  Come to room 272 or the reception and show us your fruit and/or vegie and we will give you a coupon.  At the end of the week, Friday, with all the participation coupons a draw will take place with great prizes.

How to participate:

Register on the following website:

 http://www.peluredebanane.com/le-defi.html.

Then just eat your fruits and veggies.

If you have any questions, just drop by my desk in 272.  Joanne

SLC Reaches Out

SLC REACHES OUT

Thursday, April 19th is a day dedicated to giving back to the community. Last year, hundreds of students and employees of Champlain St. Lawrence dedicated one day to make a difference by taking on volunteer projects that meet the needs of the Greater Quebec Area community. We want to do even better this year!

Students and staff are asked to look around them and see where they can help and donate some of their time.  Come to room 272 to register your interest or your activity, individually or as a group and REACH OUT.

This year, to add a little bit more fun, we will present a trophy to the group or program that will have been the most active on this day.

We look forward to this event so come and join us to lend a helping hand to our community. Engage your teachers in the process!
