An exhibition of "ancient pots" | One of the ways to learn about long-gone civilizations is to put ourselves in the shoes of the people who lived back then, and to experience their technology. This is what the students of History of Ancient civilization did! You can admire their creations in the front entrance and near the reception desk. As they made pottery the "old way", they realized that there was a lot of know-how involved in the production of this important tool.
Pottery was important in ancient societies, where containers made of pottery were used to cook and conserve of food and water while clay was also used for brick-making, for sculpture, as weights for spinning and weaving, and even as a support for ancient scripts.
