Shad Valley

We all recognize that high academic achievers come from all different economic backgrounds, and it is our experience that students can be deterred to apply due to the cost factor. Therefore I would like to make sure that you are aware and to convey to your students that no student, if offered a place in the program, will ever be turned away due to cost, in cases where financial need is clearly demonstrated.  And to support this effort we have made available a number of full scholarships, bursaries, and travel bursaries to support this initiative.

Important information:

· Our final intake date for applications is Wednesday, January 19, 2011

· Please ensure your students know about our bursaries and financial awards. For 2011, $300,000 is budgeted for financial/travel assistance
· There is no cost to apply to Shad Valley
· Completing the application is a great experience for future university applications
