Like Art in Action on Facebook 

Emily Little, an animation major at San Jose State, is updating Flash animations for the online lesson discussions. 
Chandler Corallo, a sophomore at Reed College, is adding videos about the artists and masterpieces to the online lessons.  

Alicia Stein, a sophomore at Dominican College, is using children's art to update samples. She is also finding videos about art objects from other cultures.

Welcome New Schools    

This fall, students and teachers at Northside Christian Academy, Wadsworth, OH, and Crossroads Christian Academy, Morgan Hill, CA are excited to have Art in Action in their classrooms. An additional 17 schools will enrich their students' lives through the support of the Art in Action Scholarship Program.

Robert Rauschenberg  

· studied at Black Mountain College with Josef Albers.

· made art from Coca-Cola bottles, traffic barricades, and stuffed birds, calling them "combine" paintings.

· produced theatrical pieces in collaboration with composer John Cage.
