Random Acts of Kindness
|
Thank you to Lachmin Singh and 12 of
her friends from Sullivan Cromwell and RAOK (Random Acts of Kindness).
In 2 short hours, they stuffed, labeled, stamped, & sorted about
1,000 envelopes. These mailers went to school principals and
PTA presidents in the East Bay and San Francisco. Their help was
invaluable in getting the mailers prepared.

"Alexander Calder: Color in Motion" Alexander Calder challenged the long-held notion that sculpture was static and monumental. His inventive, colorful, animated "mobiles" epitomize the innovative, optimistic spirit of early-twentieth century modernism. This exhibition will include mobiles, jewelry, and works on paper drawn from Bay Area collections. Aug.1, - Dec. 13, 2009 San Jose Museum of Art
