The Atherton Fine Art Gallery show, The Young at Art, featured the talent of over 100 student artists who donated original artwork to benefit Art in Action. Students from Nativity School in Menlo Park, Highlands School in San Mateo, North Star Academy in Redwood City, Crystal Springs Uplands School in Hillsborough, and Corte Madera School in Portola Valley contributed their paintings and drawings from Art in Action projects. Gallery Highlights Sonoma County Museum
|

If you missed the exhibit at the de Young Museum, this is a great opportunity to see Following Nature: Ruth Asawa in Sonoma County. See the history, drawings, paintings, and sculptures of one of America's most important women artists of the twentieth century. Like many artists over the last century who have sought refuge in Sonoma County for inspiration, Asawa spent over thirty years observing nature and immersing herself in organic forms along the Russian River near Armstrong Woods.
