| Two new keynote and plenary speakers have been announced for the Australian Youth Mentoring Conference -
Dr Kristy Muir, Associate Dean (Research) of the FASS and a Senior Research Fellow with the Social Policy Research Centre at the University of NSW, will be examining the what research findings are telling us about disengaged young people, the policies and supports that are currently available and what the gaps are so we can move our programs in the right directions.
Stuart Reid, Director Policy and Planning: Children Youth and Families at the WA Department for Communities, will discuss the recent WA youth mentoring reform project, reflecting on the experience of partnership and collaboration in policy development and focuses on specific lessons others may find useful in building support for reform.
