We are pleased to announce Renée Spencer, Keynote Speaker at the 2012 Australian Youth Mentor Conference.
Renée is an Associate Professor at the Boston University School of Social Work. Her research focuses on the relational processes at work in youth mentoring and the determinants of more and less successful relationships. She has written numerous articles and book chapters on both formal and informal youth mentoring relationships and serves as a member of several boards and committees, including MENTOR/National Mentoring Partnership Research and Policy Council and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America Research Advisory Council.
Renée will be presenting her research on factors contributing to mentoring relationship failures and implications for programmatic efforts to prevent them.
