The Australian Youth Mentoring Network would like to welcome Dr Kristy Muir and Gerrie Mitra to the AYMN Council.  

 

Kristy is the Associate Dean (Research) of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and a Senior Research Fellow with the Social Policy Research Centre at the University of NSW.  

 

Gerrie is the Deputy CEO of Service to Youth Council Inc (SYC).

We also sadly announce the retirement of Lesley Tobin from the AYMN Council. Lesley has been part of the AYMN since the very beginning and has worked tirelessly over the years. We would like to thank her passion and dedication to the AYMN and youth mentoring in general. We wish her all the very best for her retirement.

the NEW Australian Youth Mentoring Benchmarks are launched!.

 

Tuesday the 29th of May at 1 p.m. the AYMN will launch the new Benchmarks.

 

We have made some significant changes to the way it looks including the inclusion of new Guidance and Checklist sections.

 

For all other changes you'll need to wait until the 29th! So watch this space!

A new Practitioner/Coordinator Factsheet is now available for download on the AYMN website. Factsheet 10 - Program Tune-Up aims to assist programs in the 'tune up' of their operations in order to better meet the Australian Youth Mentoring Benchmarks and make a difference to the lives of young people.  Click here to download this factsheet
