Coordinator Factsheet -  Managing Risk during the Match

Mentoring inherently carries risk; the business of mentoring is concerned with developing relationships, at times adults and youth are spending unsupervised time together, and in many cases the mentee is experiencing difficult life circumstances and may be in a vulnerable position. Risk management should be part of your organisations planning in order for: your safety, the safety of the people involved in your program and in regard to the threat of possible litigation.

This new factsheet offers information to help program coordinators plan for and manage risk to ensure your organisation is prepared if things go wrong.
