New Governance Model for AYMN 
 
Golden Man Thank you to everyone who took the time out to review the two proposed structures and decision making models for the AYMN. We are currently reviewing all the responses. 
 
Our committee will meet on 24 June to discuss the comments made by everyone and will make a decision on the best model for the AYMN going forward. We will keep you posted on the website and in the next newsletter on the outcome of the committee's decision.
 
New Practitioner Factsheet
 
 
Training mentorsA new practitioner factsheet is now available for to download for free on our website. The factsheet - Training Mentors - provides programs with tips on how to create a training program for your mentors including tips on training adults and writing a training manual.
 
 
Website Maintenance
 
 
E-ToolsWe are currently in the process of building a brand new website. As such, access to our website will be limited from the 15 June 2010 to 22 June 2010. Programs will not be able to change their program profiles and they will not be able to access OSAT. All other areas of the website should still be up and running.
 
We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Keep an eye out in July when our brand new website will launch!

NRGize is an invaluable three-day workshop that will provide you with the knowledge and tools you need to establish, start and run a successful youth mentoring program. The 2010 NRGize Workshop will be held in North Sydney from Tuesday, 6 July to Thursday, 8 July 2010.

The AYMN will be producing a brand new report, which will come out every quarter, outlining the latest research in mentoring!
 
Keep an eye on our website for the launch of this great resource. This collection of up to date research will assist us in determining the best methods and effectiveness of mentoring.
 
Youth Development and Support Program

The 2010-2011 funding round for the Youth Development and Support Program is now open. The Youth Development and Support Program is a federally funded program designed to provide financial support to non-government, not-for-profit organisations to deliver community-based projects to develop young people by creating practical and innovative opportunities in their communities. Hurry, applications close Friday 9 July 2010 at 5pm AEST.
