Cycle of Support
The Australian Youth Mentoring Network is a national hub for mentoring in Austarlia. Our aim is to foster the growth and development of high quality youth mentoring programs across Australia. We do this by providing support to mentoring practitioners and volunteer mentors in the form of:
-
Access to quality tools and resources through the website
-
Professional development and networking opportunities
-
Further research into the Australian mentoring landscape.
To ensure we continue to provide the highest quality of service to our stakeholders we also need the mentoring sector to provide assistance to us. This can be achieved simply by completing our online surveys, ensuring you connect new programs you come across to the Network or sitting on one of our project working parties.
By strengthening this cycle of support we can make sure the AYMN is developing the right tools, running the most efficient workshops and researching the most relevant topics that will benefit your program and the sector as a whole.

Update to Win |
It's that time of the year again when we ask that you check your program details listed on our website. To ensure that the information we provide to potential volunteers, teachers, parents and young people remains accurate, we are asking all users to log on and ensure the contact details and program information are still correct.
As an added bonus, if you update your details on the website or via email, your program will go into the running to win a Canon PowerShot A480 camera. Hurry, entries close Friday, 5 March 2010.
Please note that when editing your program details, it is important to complete details of the training provided to mentors. This information can only be viewed by us and will not be disclosed to other programs. |

OSAT, the Online Self Assessment Tool, is designed to assist programs to identify how well they are meeting the National Youth Mentoring Benchmarks and helps you to understand where the program's strengths and weaknesses lie.
OSAT provides users with four status reports as well as a series of tools and resources to programs to make the necessary improvements.
OSAT also provides you with a rating of how your program compares against all other programs that have completed the tool. Click here to use OSAT today |
